• You want to distract yourselves from daily routine? – games with standard control will be ideal for you (playing for 10, 30, 60 minutes and more)
• You don't want to hurry? – choose controls with increment (with an opportunity to increase time)
• You want something exotic? – play with decrement (time will be decreased after each move)
• You are absorbed in thought at the chess board? – then you will surely enjoy playing Correspondence chess (Correspondence, Deep chess) when you have several days or even weeks for considering your next move.

• Special client program that is installed to a user's computer – the advanced full version with all opportunities. This program allows playing chess, communicate in the chat and forum of the playing zone, analyze played games, attend lectures and many other things.

Besides, there is a version for playing from Pocket PC and mobile phones.

Installation and registration

When you enter the club for the first time you should register your login. If you want to enjoy full rights of participating in the tournaments and have an opportunity to receive prizes then you should register the “official login” – login with your real name.

If you are a novice at our club we recommend you to watch training flash videos on playing in the zone.

To install Chess Planet for Pocket PC you should have .Net Framework 2.0. installed in your PC and Pocket PC.

The playing program ChessOK Playing Zone is constantly improved so if you use one of our previous versions we recommend you to update it. You can check your program version using Help \ About menu. Using Help \ Web update menu you can update the program. The program connects to the update server and checks if there is an updated version available. If there is a newer version the program displays you the list of changes in the new version and after that you can decide whether you want to download it now or later. After downloading the update will be installed automatically and the program restarts.

Manual program update. To update the program manually you should download the update file and unzip it to the folder where your program is installed. During this process the program should be off.
