Is there any way to force the computer to make a move while playing online at ICC, for instance, while I am in time trouble?
Thanks
---------------------
only to press on icon"forse move"
Usually engine make move immediately after pressing this icon in tool bar
But sometimes also may not work.

Where is this icon? I swear I don't see it anywhere.
I lost a game due to time with forced mate in 5, and that's not acceptable, in my opinion. I need to find out why I'm having time trouble, and when I am in time trouble, to force a move. I've tried all kinds of time settings with Rybka4 and other engines, and still....nothing.
Thanks
Edit: I see the icon for engine-engine play on my computer, but not for online play on ICC. Is there a way to add it? I see nothing in the help files. Thanks

for connecting to ICC and play on-line here select Internet\connect\to Inetrnet Chess club\.. command
Note: as quest you have no ability to play on ICC. You must have membership.
IF you have human account, you can't use engines on ICC
if you have Robot account you may play on ICC uing any engine
Button "force move" in section "engines" in tollbar
when your move it have hint "compute"
when engine's move - hint "force move"
when played 2 engines - hint always "force move"

Thank you very much for your help! But, I don't think that "force move" is available for ONLINE engine-engine play. I DO see it for play that is NOT online. And I do have a robot(C) account on ICC.
Thanks

I think I solved the problem. I disabled the endgame tablebases, and it's playing much better on time. They must have been hanging up the engine...maybe they weren't fully compatible.
But if you do have a "force move" button for online ICC play, I'd be happy to know where! Thanks

In ICC you may play with engine using 2 ways:
You may select option "play as engine.." and select engine for play
In such way engine will make all moves automatically and button "force move" exists in tool bar (section engines)
Or you may play himself but run infinite analysis simultaneously
Engine will show variations and you may select suggested move and make it himself in any moment
In such way of course no "force move" - you play game himself and only use hints from engine.
Note: all this possible only if you select Robot account.
